Engineering Manager II Personality Test
Filling out a position for an engineering manager can be a challenging responsibility. The Engineering Manager I Personality Test has been developed to make this task easier and ensure that employers have all the necessary information about candidates to choose the best one for the role. The assessment will identify hard-working candidates with the mental acuity necessary in engineering positions that also possess the leadership qualities to lead and motivate other employees and create an efficient service-minded environment. The Engineering Manager II Test is supplemented by the Engineering/Technical Math Test for manufacturing environments.
The Engineering Manager II Test battery consists of five sections:
- 20-minute mechanical reasoning test,
- an Engineering/ Technical Math Test pertaining to manufacturing and design engineering (untimed),
- 151-question personality inventory (untimed),
- 44-item test of mental ability (consisting of questions on verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and abstract reasoning) &
- 35 open-ended statements to which the candidate must type in short narrative responses.
Most of the assessment is untimed (except for the mechanical reasoning section at the beginning) and usually takes candidates approximately 2-3 hours to complete.
The Engineering Manager II Assessment Report will give you a graphic representation of scores in areas related to the job role, aptitude results and their explanation, candidate's strengths, and developmental concerns, and suggested interview questions.
